Using methodology from Sustainable CT and data from the New Haven Solid Waste & Recycling Authority, the City of New Haven Office of Climate and Sustainability estimates that residential solid waste per capita (in pounds) was 849 pounds in fiscal year 2021-2022, up from 816 pounds in fiscal year 2020-2021.
