EPA Community Change Grant Call for Initiatives

Funding of up to $20 million is available for implementation of the plan.

The Office of Climate and Sustainability has partnered with 8 community-based organizations to form the Elm City Climate Collaborative (EC3). The EC3 will create a community-driven plan to address climate change and pollution, which the Office plans submit to the EPA’s Community Change Grants Program later this year.

The EC3 will be convening again on June 24th from 6 to 8 pm at the Canal Dock Boathouse (475 Long Wharf Drive) to continue developing the community’s grant proposal.

Please email elmcityclimate@gmail.com if you’d like to attend and join one of the five Work Groups:

Materials Management, Community Infrastructure, Transportation and Energy, Housing and Health, and Community/Youth Engagement and Capacity Building

Get involved in a Work Group or other aspects of the work.

The Work Groups will help review and assess all possible initiatives and craft the proposal.

We are documenting all the work currently underway in New Haven around climate change and pollution reduction:
