Whitney Avenue is one of several major transportation corridors that run through the City of New Haven.  The City is currently undergoing a redesign effort to make transportation improvements to this corridor to improve safety for all users of the road.  An initial public meeting was held on February 10, 2021 where attendees shared their concerns and ideas related to the street.  A public input map was created to capture this feedback and can be found below

Using this feedback, the City developed a concept design for the corridor.  A second public meeting was held on October 21, 2021 where the concept design was shared and discussed.  This concept design can be found below.
