The Livable City Initiative Board is comprised of nine members: Seven regular members, two alternate members and two members from the Board of Alders.
Regular members are to be appointed by the Mayor and must be approved by the Board of Alders. Term of board membership is three years.
The board oversees the long-range planning in policy formulation and program evaluation for the bureau; and approve the bureau’s acquisition and disposition of real property, with the exclusion of tax foreclosure and deed-in-lieu tax foreclosure.
