Dear Neighbors,
 
Last week I submitted my proposed City budget for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 to the New Haven Board of Alders for review and consideration.
 
There is A LOT in the proposed budget, and I wanted to take the time to share with you a general overview, some key highlights, and how you can learn more and engage in the budget process between now and June 5^th, which is the date by which the city’s budget must be finalized and adopted.
 
To this end, I will be holding a series of budget town halls for residents to learn more about the budget, ask questions, and provide input and feedback on the proposals. I hope you’ll be able to join one of these discussions, and the info about these town halls are as follows: 

• 3/21 at 6 p.m. at the Benjamin Jepson School (15 Lexington Ave),
• 3/28 at 6 p.m. at the L.W. Beecher School (100 Jewell Street),
• 4/4 at 6 p.m. at the Conte-West Hills School (511 Chapel Street).
