The City of New Haven, SCRCOG, and consultant partners SLR Consulting and VHB, are undertaking further study of several downtown streets so they may be converted from one-way to two-way.  With downtown New Haven’s continued growth and vitality comes increasing demand for safe and sustainable modes of transportation, guided by Vision Zero principles.  Improving downtown New Haven’s streets is a key element in the community’s quality of life and the safety and mobility of its citizens.
