NEW HAVEN, CT – This evening, Wednesday, August 9th at 6 p.m. at Hill Regional Career High School (140 Legion Avenue), the New Haven Fire Department will hold a promotional ceremony and swear in eighteen officers, including one deputy fire marshal, one fire investigative supervisor, one director of training, three deputy chiefs, three battalion chiefs, three fire captains, four fire lieutenants, and two inspector-investigators.
The ceremony will include remarks by Mayor Justin Elicker, Fire Chief John Alston, Jr., the New Haven Board of Fire Commissioners and others, the presentation of badges, and the oath of office. The official program is attached and can also be found here.
