Appointments

NOT all properties are eligible for Bulk please call 203-946-7700 to confirm eligibility.

This service is available to New Haven Residents only. Proof of residency is required at time of scheduling. Picture IDs must have your current New Haven address on it. Appointments are scheduled by neighborhoods.

Homeowners of a house with one -three units are entitled to 2 Bulk Trash pickups per calendar year.

The first bulk appointment for homeowners is FREE
The second bulk appointment in the same calendar year is $50.00 for homeowners

Tenants are entitled to 2 Bulk Trash pickups per calendar year however they will need to pay $50.00 for each bulk appointment in the same calendar year.

We only accept check, money, or exact cash (we do not provide change). All checks must be made payable to Treasurer City of New Haven.

Please note: If you are not serviced by the City for Trash & Recycling pick up then you are ineligible for Bulk Trash pickup.
